Exodus Global is a privately held, family business with deep ties to Superior, Wisconsin, and is a leading manufacturer of heavy equipment attachments used in the scrap, recycling, and demolition industries. Exodus Global and its companies, ShearCore, BladeCore and Connect Work Tools, OilQuick Americas LLC, and Rockzone Americas have invested heavily in state-of-the-art equipment and a world class manufacturing facility.

Exodus Global is seeking a Vice President – Finance who will be a key part of the Executive Management Team and oversee the financial, human resources and information technology side of the house.

The ideal candidate has strong financial and manufacturing acumen, but equally important is someone that values integrity, believes in teamwork, and understands that we are not just a business…we’re a family.

Areas of responsibility:

Financial Reporting and Analysis ~ as a key part of the management team, oversee creation and provide insight of all financial reporting in a timely and accurate fashion.  

Financial Process ~ responsible to develop and/or maintain internal controls to ensure financial integrity and asset protection.   Establish and maintain strong accounting policies and procedures for all financial functions (accounts receivable, collections, invoicing, purchasing, accounts payable, etc.).

Manufacturing accounting ~ Develop and/or maintain accurate job costing information including materials labor and overhead rates.  Routinely provide reporting and analysis on job costing and gross margin.

Cash Management ~ monitor, forecast and provide management over the cash position of the Company.  Provide financial forecasts and models to be presented and reviewed weekly with Executive Management Team. 

An eye on the future ~ In addition to preparing and presenting timely and accurate financial reports on what has happened, keep an eye on the future financial health of the company through financial projections and forecasts. 

Financial relationships ~ establish and maintain clear communication with bankers, insurance brokers, and other financial institutions.

Financial compliance ~ ensure company compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and standards, IRS Tax Code, and GAAP.

Insurance and employee benefits ~ oversee, monitor, and maintain corporate insurance program and employee benefits.

Budgeting and Expense Control ~ Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the budgeting process, including comparing the company’s actual performance against the budget. 

Information technology ~ in the ever-changing world of IT, work with staff to maintain safeguards around Company data, appropriate IT infrastructure and equipment and manage risks associated in current IT realm. 

Human Resources ~ working with HR staff responsible to recruit, hire, terminate.  Employee development.  Compliance.  Develop new and creative ways attract employees.

Other projects as determined by CEO.

Minimum Requirements of Employer:

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Highly skilled Excel user. Proficiency in other Microsoft Office programs
  • Knowledge of Syteline ERP platform a plus
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
