Position Summary

Reports to the OilQuick Engineering Manager and is responsible for applying drafting standards and practices to manufacturing drawings.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create Detail Drawings for Mobile Heavy Equipment mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components
  • Create and maintain assembly models and drawings
  • Design lightweight 3D components and assemblies
  • Reporting on the status of drafting projects in development
  • Bill of Material maintenance within manufacturing software (MRP System)
  • Manage tasks assigned by Project Engineers
  • Complete tasks required for changes in accordance with ECN process Engineering Change Notice
  • Work with production personnel on as built design updates

Skills and Specifications

  • Proficient in Solidworks
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines, and handle multiple priorities at the same time

Education and Qualifications

  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in CAD Drafting/Design preferred but not required
  • 0 – 5 years’ experience.
