Position Summary
Reports to the OilQuick Engineering Manager and is responsible for applying drafting standards and practices to manufacturing drawings.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Create Detail Drawings for Mobile Heavy Equipment mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components
- Create and maintain assembly models and drawings
- Design lightweight 3D components and assemblies
- Reporting on the status of drafting projects in development
- Bill of Material maintenance within manufacturing software (MRP System)
- Manage tasks assigned by Project Engineers
- Complete tasks required for changes in accordance with ECN process Engineering Change Notice
- Work with production personnel on as built design updates
Skills and Specifications
- Proficient in Solidworks
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines, and handle multiple priorities at the same time
Education and Qualifications
- Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in CAD Drafting/Design preferred but not required
- 0 – 5 years’ experience.
