Exodus Global is thrilled to announce the recent completion of a significant expansion at our Superior, Wisconsin location. This ambitious project, managed by local company JR Jensen Construction, added an impressive 27,000 square feet to our facility, encompassing new manufacturing and warehouse spaces, an employee locker room, and a remodeled atrium. The remodeled atrium now serves as the venue for our weekly Thursday breakfasts, fostering a stronger sense of community among our team members.

Partnering with Local Excellence

The expansion and remodel projects were expertly overseen by JR Jensen Construction, a trusted local partner. Their commitment to excellence and seamless communication ensured the project’s success. Kevin Boreen, CEO of Exodus Global, expressed his appreciation for their work:

Reimagining Our Facility

This expansion provided us with the unique opportunity to reimagine “what could be” for Exodus Global. To maximize the benefits of our new space, we engaged the UW-Stout Manufacturing Outreach Center to assist in training our staff on proper workflow and warehouse layout. This intensive week of training was a transformative experience, setting the stage for years of improved efficiency and productivity.

Lean Manufacturing and Enhanced Workflow

The addition of dedicated warehouse space is a game-changer for our operations, both on and off the production floor. By applying lean manufacturing principles like Value Stream Mapping, we have reinvented our inventory management processes. This approach maximizes the utilization of our floor space, which is now efficiently serviced by our overhead bridge cranes.

Curtis Klever, Exodus Global’s project manager and quality control, highlighted the significance of these improvements:
